The voice of God

Hey y'all from happily ever seeking God! Man, if I truly listen and watch and "be still" as of late I have found that really cool things can happen. Of course I think cool things are happening all the time, I just can't slow down long enough to pay attention to it. I heard a voice the other day, clear as day, (in my head) of "I am proud of you". I have several voices in my head on a pretty consistent basis, those of other people and several of my own (haha), but this one was different. You know if you know. I've heard it several times, on the way to prison, when our pipes burst in our crawl space, when giving birth, just to name a few, but you know that voice, that calm, that peace of it's all going to be okay. It was the God of my understanding and in that moment, that was all that I needed. When we live in a world of never enough, never having enough, or being enough, sometimes an "I'm proud of you" from something greater than myself is all that I need. Because in the grand scheme of things, none of the rest of this really matters right? It's not about me. It's all for God, to God, around God. Or maybe it's just all about love and goodness, belonging and service. So just for today, I'm proud of me, I'm proud of you, and I know my God has got my back, in the good, the bad and everything in between. So, when have you heard God lately? Tell me your story.
